The World Series 2013 schedule continues Monday night as the Red Sox and Cardinals play the WS Game 5, which can be seen via live stream or by following the official TV start time.
Last night, the (2-2) Boston Red Sox overcame two errors and a sluggish start, ultimately knotting things up at two wins apiece with the (2-2) St. Louis Cardinals.
Less than 24 hours later, these same two teams get to do it again, as the World Series 2013 schedule has been trimmed down to a three-game series.
According to an Oct. 28 MLB report, first pitch and TV time for the WS Game 5 is slated for 8:17 p.m. ET (5:17 p.m. PT) live (nationwide) on FOX.

Coming off a dominant performance in the opener, LHP Jon Lester (WS 2013: 1-0, 0.00 ERA) gets the nod for the second time in this series tonight.
After tossing 7.2 innings of 5-hit, shutout ball, the Sox hard-throwing lefty came under scrutiny, as photos of what appeared to be a green substance on the inside of his glove surfaced.
Boston skipper John Farrell did his best to defused the situation, claiming Lester used rosin to help him cope with sweat on Wednesday night at Fenway.
“From my perspective, if you know Jon Lester, he sweats like a pig and he needs rosin,” said the Red Sox’s first-year manager. “And you know what, he keeps it in his glove. Other guys will keep it on their arm. Other guys will keep it on their pant leg. So that’s my response to the allegations.”
Looking to redeem himself after a lackluster performance in Game 1, Cardinals ace RHP Adam Wainwright (WS 2013: 0-1, 5.40 ERA) will toe the rubber for in tonight’s pivotal game.
The two-time All-Star attributed his Game 1 struggles on his mechanics, allowing 5 runs (3 ER) in 5.0 inning pitched, translating to a Cardinals 8-1 loss.
“I honestly don’t know why my mechanics were as bad as they were, why my delivery was off as much as it was,” he said. “I feel like I’ve made a lot of good adjustments to be ready to throw some quality pitches the next time. I threw maybe four or five quality pitches the whole time I was pitching [in Game 1].”
