As the deadline for the government shut down looms, frustrated Americans are wondering exactly where all the reasonable Republicans went in the last few election cycles? If your head has been buried deep in the sand, you’ve missed the part when the Tea Party suddenly road in on their billion dollar bank accounts and inhabited the bodies of your local politicians. All Republicans are not proponents of Tea Party ideology, but some Republican politicians are forced to fall in line with ideals that they would not have entertained before this highly funded group became a dominant political presence. However, when politicians become greedy, began taking money and making promises, the American people are the ones who suffer.
Women have become the main targets of the Tea Party for the past election cycles. The topics of abortion and birth control have caused debates and rallies which have caused little change since politicians aren’t employed by the people anymore, the Tea Party rules with their iron clad bank accounts and threats of re-call elections. Check out the top 3 Reasons Tea Party Republicans Do Not Represent Women…
The Tea Party isn’t the movement for women as they have influenced many state leaders to restrict abortion rights in certain states. Instead of reversing Roe versus Wade, they have implemented severe regulations that force clinics to close for failure of meeting these mission-impossible regulations.
DeFunding Social Programs
The entire country is aware that we are in a budget crisis, but defunding social programs should not be the first to get the ax. This action demonstrates the disconnect the Tea Party has with regular Americans. Why would you cut from the poorest people instead of the richest? This is basic common sense. This country was based on Christian principles, and these politicians are always screaming about religion. Well, they never practice what they preach. They are a bunch of cowards taking from the poor and filling their own pockets. Hypocrites!
The Tea Party has demonstrated their displeasure with the new healthcare law covering birth control for women. These are the same nutter-butters who complain about abortion rates. Easier access to birth control will decrease the number of abortion in our country. This should certainly be a DUH!! moment for the Tea Party party, but it seems that either they have the most idiots on their payroll or their tactics are apart of some big joke they’ve let go on too long.
