First Friday Art Walk in the Crossroads Arts District will be held on Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants can enjoy local artists, music, drink and food from the largest food truck district in Kansas City. The Gallery at Christ Church will hold a reception on First Friday for Noelle Stoffel. Other artists in studio or opening exhibits for First Friday: Aaron Coleman at Alejandro Home Design, Brett Kern, Amy Santoferraro and Mikey Walsh at Red Star Studios and Ceramic Top 40 2013 at Red Star Studios. Keller Art Gallery at 734 Southwest Blvd. participates in First Friday and is featuring the works of Steve Wilson.
The “Current Prospectives” lecture series at Epperson Auditorium presents Randy Regier of Wichita, Kan., Regier is a contemporary visual artist, on Oct. 31. The auditorium is located at 45 and Warwick.
“Country-A Retrospective” by Max Penner will be featured at the All Souls Gallery. The gallery is located inside the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church at 4501 Walnut. The exhibit will run through Nov. 15.
The BECO Gallery will feature Sonja Shaffer’s “One Day” at the gallery located at 1922 Baltimore. The exhibit will run through Oct. 31.
Belger Arts Center will feature “Contemporary Talavera Uriarte” and “The French Connection” at the gallery. There will be an opening reception during the First Friday Art Walk in the Crossroads Art District. The gallery is located at 2100 Walnut and the exhibit will run through Jan. 4, 2014.
Bill Eickhorst photography will be featured at the Campanella Gallery located inside the McAfee Memorial Library at Park Hill University. The university is located at 8700 N.W. River Park, Parkville, Mo. The exhibit will run through Nov. 16.
Images Art Gallery will present Sandy Cahill and Maria Craven in their gallery located at 7320 W. 80th in Overland Park, Kan. The exhibit will run through Nov. 9.
The Keller Art Gallery at 734 Southwest Blvd. in Kansas City, Kan. will feature the works of Steve Wilson. Steve works with mixed media, photography and acrylics. He will be on display indefinitely at the new gallery.
Kemper East will present “Nomads: Traveling Adolescence” at the gallery located at 200 E. 44th Street. The exhibit closes on Nov. 15.
The Red Star Studios presents “Invisible Realities” by Isadora Cuellar through October 26. Also on exhibit is “Confluence” by Paul Donnelly and Rain Harris which closes Jan. 3, 2014. The gallery is located at 2100 Walnut.
