Scattered thunderstorms developed Friday night and Saturday in a warm and humid air mass. A frontal boundary is stalled across Ohio which has been serving as the trigger for this storm activity. That front will get pushed to the southeast on Monday bringing cooler weather and an end to the rain.
You will want to take the umbrella if you are heading out to church or a Sunday morning brunch. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday night right through most of the day on Sunday. The best chance for rain will be during the morning hours through the middle of the afternoon. An isolated storm cannot be ruled out also later in the day. Between showers, it will be another hot and humid afternoon with highs reaching the upper 80s.
An area of low pressure will shove the front out of town on Labor Day. This will means scattered showers and storms during the morning and early afternoon hours. The weather will improve towards the end of the afternoon and the humidity will start to drop as well. Highs will reach the middle 80s.
Another dose of fall like weather will be in the cards for much of next week. Highs are going to dip down into the 70s with lows possible reaching the 50s. Expect plenty of sunshine and no rain Tuesday through at least Friday.
