Designer Stacy Sipp, presenting for Beloved, at Omaha Fashion Week stated she focused on separates and accessories. Flowers being perfect for a Spring 2014 collection, many of her pieces had giant flowers to accent her work. Sipp mentioned she was looking at pockets as a functional purpose, or places for preteens to put things. The models showed this in the accessories by pulling phones out of the bags at their hips. It was well focused for the pre-teen group with cuts that were flexible and flattering. In particular the cut of the shorts from the back was very flattering. Frequently, shorts are just made wider at the back and are not flattering on any age. Sipp did a nice job of not falling into this trap.
Sipp selected nice prints and incorporated the Beloved brand name into her collection. For the pre-teen girl the use of pink is spot on as it is a favored color for the youthful age group. A favorite accessory was the infinity scarf. The multiple options shown are the kind of scarf anyone would want in multiples. The maxi dresses with wrap belts are also another great commercial option that could easily be done in many colors.

Easy wear by Stacy Sipp
These Spring 2014 dresses could be worn by any pre-teen girl. The bag, in particular, is a great asset for pre-teens because it’s not too large and has a long enough strap to be thrown over the head and across the chest as is commonly done by this age group.
The halter and shorts separates are dressed up further by the flower. This is a really nice option for Sunday church so that shorts can be worn but still be dress appropriate as these shorts are more like trouser shorts.
The infinity scarf is a really nice touch to this outfit. The small polka dots in contrast to the large skirt polka dots balance the outfit nicely. It could easily be too much with the scarf and flower but this styling is spot on.

The separates in this outfit are really interesting. The back of the top has a pink panel and the shorts were a perfect fit from the back. The pink stripe on the shorts and the flower accent were a lot of fun.
Maxi dress and infinity scarf
This maxi dress with sashed midriff are great options for not only children but it would easily translate for women. The choice of patterns is cool and the infinity scarf adds volume in a nice way.
Stacy Sipp added in a flirty cocktail length dress to her collection. It is perfect for homecoming, special occasions, or 8th grade graduation. The model looked very comfortable in the dress and it could be styled up or down depending on the shoes.
