So, Chris Brown has once again been arrested. Over the weekend he broke a man’s nose who photo bombed a picture he was taking with two girls outside his hotel, or the man was simply asking for an autograph, but regardless it was stated he made a racial gay slur at the man as the accounts of what transpired differ from source to source. It was 4:25 am, and he was arrested and charged with felony assault. This is troubling as he is still on probation for beating up fellow singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and this may make life a little more complex for the singer.
Brown has a long history of violence and outbursts, but complains that he is tired of the negative attention he gets from the media. According to E News, people in Brown’s camp are stating he needs “treatment” and long-term “therapy.” It is also reported that he will get depressed because of the negative attention in the media, so he self-medicates with weed and alcohol. E News reports his camp believes he is one of the most hated men in the business. He has plenty of yes men who are along with him for the ride. Addiction starts with denial and blaming others for your own actions and the consequences of those actions, which appears to be present in his thinking, as well as the enabling supporters. Brown it is clear needs to take a long step back and look at, is he the problem or everyone else, for the trouble he is in.
When do you intervene, an intervention should have been done long ago. Now that he is increasingly becoming more intense with his anger and alleged drug use, people want to come to his defense. He had a hit and run in August this year, which revoked his probation and he was given 1,000 hours community service. Brown even had the tenacity to complain about the community service. This must conflict with his party schedule. Does he know anyone in prison, because that is where he is heading. Maybe he will get lucky and a good lawyer will get him more community service with his money. How many acts of violence and hurting people does it take to put him in prison for felony charges. On a social media site, Brown has an invitation for a costume contest aka party this Halloween, October 31, 2013, more indulging for sure. Should be interesting to see what transpires for Brown.
