Sexy Hair supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the hair care brand has partnered with Look Good Feel Better to raise money in its Second Annual Sexy Hair for a Cause with National Cut-A-Thon to be held on Tuesday.
According to the press release, over 350 hair salons across the United States are participating in the Caring is Sexy Cut-A-Thon to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sexy Hair will donate 100% of the proceeds from each appointment to Look Good Feel Better, a non-profit organization dedicated to help women with appearance-related issues caused by the side effects of cancer treatments. More than $115,000 was raised during the first Sexy Cut-A-Thon, and Sexy Hair hopes to exceed that number this year to show the community just how sexy caring can be, as stated by Karl Heinz Pitsch, President and CEO of Sexy Hair.
After the widespread success of last year’s Cut-A-Thon, we continue to be extremely proud that our salons and stylists have come together yet again to pay it forward on October 22. Unfortunately, the effects of cancer in this country touch too many families. Sexy Hair is known for its creativity and celebration of individuality—we also value community and it is our hope to show just how sexy caring can be.”
It isn’t too late to partake in the Sexy Cut-A-Thon. Simply visit www.sexyhaircutathon.com for a full list of participating salons and to learn more about the Sexy Hair brand.
Additionally, a purchase of Sexy Hair pink and red Ombré products will contribute to the support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the Sexy Hair Facebook page, the “Sexy Hair Corp number one selling hairspray is also a catalyst for spreading awareness and raising funds for a good cause. Five percent of the net proceeds (up to $40,000) from the sales of the special and limited edition Sexy Hair cans will also go to benefit Look Good Feel Better.”
Last year, Cherie Porter’s winning zipper design appeared on Sexy Hair’s limited-edition packaging aimed at increasing awareness for breast cancer. This year, Sexy Hair unveils a beautiful Ombré design that turns five of its bold red hair spray cans to a beautiful pink hue.
Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play, Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Harder, Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus, Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal, and Big Sexy Hair Powder Play have made the Ombré transformation for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Visit Sexy Hair to locate the Ombré products that will support Look Good Feel Better, because “Caring is Sexy”.
