Responsibility comes in all shapes and sizes. It comes with each choice we make and it is something that we must respect for a life time.
With each choice we then become responsible for each action. How we deal with or work with those choices will be with us until we are no longer living or breathing here on earth.
Responsibilities; morals, values, beliefs in something or someone. I’m responsible for my child once I choose to have one. I’m responsible for making sure that child has clothing, food, warmth and shelter, an education and most importantly to most, love.
There is something else we’re responsible for other than materialistic things, wants, and/or needs. We are responsible for the other part of us. The spiritual part of us.
Our spirit needs all that tender love and care just like the physical part of us needs clothing, food, warmth and shelter. Our spirit becomes hungry with each passing day and if not given the nourishment it “needs”, it will wither and die just as the body will.
How are we responsible to our spirit. We are responsible for providing it with prayer, a divine connection between the Great Provider and our human forms. We are responsible for providing our spirit with love, kindness, and compassion; three things that help it to grow, mature, and achieve enlightenment and by giving it the ability to self heal and reach a self awareness of what it means to be a spiritual being living a human existence.
As humans we sometimes loose sight of our “responsibilities” and we loose ourselves in the midst of the chaos. As humans we don’t always honor our choices or our responsibilities and we loose sight of just how important they really are.
We think that by pushing them aside we won’t have to acknowledge them and that they will eventually go away. When it fact they don’t go away. Oh they may be removed from us physically or materialistically but spiritually and with in us, within our hearts, those choices, those responsibilities, will always be present.
We must embrace our responsibilities and do what we can to make things better. Not just for us but for those we love, for the communities we live in, for those who are lost and can’t seem to find their way, and for the future of humanity.
We have all been given great gifts. God the Father, God the Great Provider, has given us all “many” gifts. These gifts could also be called “Responsibilities”.
Tasks he has given us in journey of learning and development here on earth. Take pride in your “gift”, your “responsibilities”, what ever they may be and strive to give the best both morally and spiritually for a brighter tomorrow.
