Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday September 25, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Junicus Darden, 31, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) after officers found a pipe commonly used for illegal drug consumption with a white powdery residue. Charges were dismissed and Darden was released on 9/26 per Judge Whiteside. See also (8/15/2013) (2/17/2011)
Thomas Edward Gates II, 31, of Aragon was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in superior court. Gates remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (3/2/2013) (1/17/2013) (12/19/2011) (1/24/2010)
Cecilla Ibarra-Deangeles, 50, of Cave Spring was arrested and charged with driving without a license and speeding doing 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Ibarra-Deangeles was released on 9/27 after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.
Macy Renee James, 19, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA) after officers found a pipe commonly used for illegal drug consumption with a white powdery residue. Charges were dismissed and James was released on 9/26 per Judge Whiteside
Joshua Powell, 23, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with loitering and possession of tools used for the commission of crime. Powell remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two property bonds totaling $1,600 have been set.
Tiffany Spencer, 29, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA), third degree cruelty to children and second degree criminal damage to property. Spencer was released on 9/27 after posting a $25,100 property bond. See also (5/6/2013) (8/4/2012)
Dennis James Swindall, 40, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with two counts felony aggravated assault, two counts battery and third degree cruelty to children. Swindall remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication.
