The Pink Ribbon Bagel is back!
Panera is kicking off its 12th annual Breast Cancer awareness month this October by offering their popular Pink Ribbon Bagel. New this year, Panera will be offering Pink Ribbon Coffee Tumblers to support the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer.
“The Pink Ribbon Bagel has been a customer favorite for over a decade. Not only is it a delicious way to add flavor to the day, but each bagel sold helps bring us closer to assisting Ohio residents affected by breast cancer. Additionally, we are excited to introduce the sale of the Pink Ribbon Bagel Coffee Tumblers as an additional way to support the American Cancer Society of Southwest Ohio,” said Craig Flom, President of Breads of the World LLC, franchisee of Panera Bread in Ohio. “Panera Bread is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society of Southwest Ohio to help raise money for such a worthy cause.”
Panera will donate the proceeds of each Pink Ribbon bagel and tumblers sale as well as and additional $.25. This is to help celebrate the American Cancer Society of Southwest Ohio’s 100th birthday.
“The Pink Ribbon Bagel not only helps bring awareness to breast cancer, but it is also an opportunity to help finish the fight against the disease,” said Brittany Donnellon, Director, Mass Marketing Events for the American Cancer Society. “It is because of these funds that are donated to the Society, groundbreaking research can continue in hopes that one day soon there will be a cure for this disease. We know from our 100 years of saving lives that silence won’t finish this fight- only action will. Our 100th birthday gives us all the opportunity to be as loud and active as possible in the battle to end cancer.”
Throughout the month of October, The Pink Ribbon Tumblers will be on sale for $10, while supplies last. With the purchase of a tumbler, you will receive free brewed coffee refills at any Panera Bakery location in the Dayton or Cincinnati area.
In addition to Panera’s wonderful Pink Ribbon Event, the Panera bakery in Kettering at Town and Country will be hosting a free mammography event in conjunction with St. Elizabeth Health Care. Call ahead for your spot. (859) 655-7400. Take advantage of this event for early detection and peace of mind.
