Purses for a Purpose – Friday, October 11 – 7:30 to 9:30 pm

Wiggle Waggle Walk – Saturday, October 12 – 9 am to 12 pm

Domestic Violence Awareness Walk – Sunday, October 13 – 9 to 11 am
This event promotes domestic violence awareness through a walk, guest speakers and non-profit organizations promoting the cause.

Taste of Altamonte
Monday, October 14 – 5:30 to 9 pm
Cranes Roost Boulevard will be lined with booths featuring some of the area’s top restaurants. Taste samplings of Barbeque, seafood, pasta and international cuisine ranging from Mexican to Chinese. Beer and wine will also be available for tasting. This is a ticketed event.
Latin Food & Wine Festival
Friday, October 18 – 6 to 9 pm at the Plaza
This is a fund raising event for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando that includes wine sampling, entertainment and a silent auction. This is also a ticketed event.
Saturday, October 17 – 4 to 10 pm
The Latin Festival continues with an expected 10,000 people gathering for Central Florida’s premier Latin wine, music and culinary event.
Uptown Open Mic hosted by First Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs
Thursday, October 24 – 7 to 9 pm at the Plaza
Come to entertain or just relax and be entertained for an evening of music, dance and spoken word. Participants will need to sign up at 6:30 pm.
Florida Water Festival
Saturday, October 26 – 9 am to 3 pm at the Plaza
Public outreach program held by the FWEA that is intended to educate the public about water quality, use, supply and conservation. This event is geared for children and adults alike that includes vendors, giveaways, games and activities.
Halloween at Cranes Roost Park
Thursday, October 31 – 5 to 9 pm
The Altamonte Springs Police Department presents its annual Trick-or Treat family fun evening. This free event will feature:
Trick-or-Treating for Candy and Goodies all around Cranes Roost Lake
Live entertainment, music and games
Kid Zone activities
Costume Contests for kids AND adults at the Eddie Rose Amphitheater
Spooktacular Fountain Show
Food will be available for purchase. No coolers or pets will be permitted at this event.
