What’s up for horse lovers across the Midwest in November’s first weekend? Training clinics, barrel and ranch shows, equestrian socials, and other highlights draw folks in for post-Halloween horsing around.
Horse happenings are ongoing from Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3.
Participants and spectators do well to call horse show and event venues ahead to confirm times and other details, as always. Last-minute changes and cancellations may occur.

Davenport Stables presents a Connect with Your Horse Through Feel clinic, running from November 1 to 3 in Dayton, Minnesota. A Demonstration Evening precedes the clinic on October 31st.
In Spring Grove, Illinois, Meadowsweet Ranch offers The Real Story on Gaited Horses, a November 1 presentation by Diane Sept, followed by a Connected Riding Clinic on November 2 and 3.
Amy Larson teaches a Dressage Clinic from November 1 to 3 at Mullagh Farm, in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
The Iowa Arabian Horse Association’s 9th Annual Iowa Spooktacular Arabian and Open Horse Show comes to the Iowa Equestrian Center, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on November 2 and 3.
On November 2 and 3, S Reverse S Arena welcomes the Southwest Wisconsin Ranch Rodeo Series to Arena, Wisconsin.
In Seymour, Wisconsin, Circle E Equestrian Stables hosts a Barn Cat Bash on November 2.
A Dressage Schooling Show by Actimare is set for November 2 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds.

Pam Bound leads a Barrel Racing and Horsemanship Workshop at Showtime Arena, in Deerfield, Wisconsin, on November 3.
Also on November 3, West 20 Ranch and Saddle Club has its 10th Annual Open Holiday Pleasure Horse Show in East Troy, Wisconsin.
