TLC usually keeps details about new episodes of “19 Kids and Counting” under wraps, but on Sept. 29, the network revealed a sneak peek of a new super-sized show titled “Anniversaries To Remember.” It’s scheduled to air on Tuesday, Sept. 8 and the 60-minute show is twice as long as a normal episode. It will feature two separate wedding anniversaries: Michelle and Jim Bob’s 29th and Josh and Anna’s 5th. As posted on Discovery’s Press Web, the “19 Kids and Counting” premiere was the #1 show in its ad-supported cable time period and delivered the series’ best ratings since Feb. 2010.
According to the Duggar Family Blog, Michelle and Jim Bob celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on July 21. That means this season is a little more than two months behind real time. As longtime Duggar fans will remember, Michelle and Jim Bob renewed their wedding vows in 2009 for their 25th anniversary and the memorable event aired on “18 Kids and Counting.” According to TLC, for his 29th anniversary, Jim Bob works hard to find the perfect anniversary gift.
In Washington, DC, Josh and Anna Duggar will also celebrate a wedding anniversary – their fifth. Their wedding was chronicled on “18 Kids and Counting” in 2008 on a special episode called “A Very Duggar Wedding.” To relive their wedding, be sure to watch the video above and to the left. For their 5th anniversary, Josh and Anna take a more cosmopolitan approach and explore the streets of their new hometown. The new episode of “19 Kids and Counting” featuring the anniversaries will also explore how the two Duggar couples met.
