It was an honor to interview Heidi, owner of Christmas Milk and adoptive mother to four children. This woman is not done with her giving spirit and neither is her husband. They prove this by their dedication to their company and the fact that a portion of the proceeds from their product sales is donated to children in the foster care system and in the adoptive process. This wonderful couple has not only adopted children, but wants to ensure that other children in the process of adoption find their forever homes, too.
For the past three years, the organization has been making and distributing their special eggnog during the Christmas season. This year they have expanded and they are now making ice cream.
Besides having their French vanilla flavored eggnog available in various stores throughout the USA, this year the product will be in the Atlanta market being sold in the Kroger stores there. This summer, their “base” French vanilla eggnog ice cream was launched in three flavors at the Fancy Food Show in New York City. Ever since, this product has received a lot of recognition.
One of the three flavors is the simple French vanilla eggnog flavor; a second is with a Sea Salt caramel swirl; the third is with a chocolate swirl. Each of the three is rich, decadent and simply delicious!
The initial launch is scheduled to take place in Texas. Again the product will be available at Kroger and at Albertson’s. The Christmas Milk team is hoping that this product will help them to expand rapidly.
The goal is that as their product line grows. The couple wants their donations to grow with the organization’s successes. They want to be able to donate in various locations throughout the country so that the adoption agencies in those areas are able to receive funding so that children in the agencies benefit from the products. Their aggressive notions are in hopes that more and better products will help them to expand.
Although the idea of Christmas Milk was developed from their first adoptive son desiring the taste of the thing that brought him joy; a product that tasted like Christmas, they have further expanded that idea and attempted to bring joy to even more children throughout the United States.
After their first adoption, Heidi and her husband adopted three siblings that may have been split up otherwise. These children and their first son are better off in the company of true philanthropists.
Look out; this company is on the move. They will do whatever they have to in order to expand so that they are able to help many other children. Stay tuned as Christmas Milk and their newest products hit store shelves near you!
