Feeling lucky? Southeastern Wisconsin runners may don green apparel for the Leprechaun Dash on Saturday, October 5, in Janesville.
The Leprechaun Dash 5K – 10K – 1-mile Walk-Run is part of Janesville’s Irish Fest celebration. The running and walking event, initiated this year, benefits the Alzheimer’s Support Center of Janesville.
Registration costs $25 per person in advance, or $35 on race day, for the Irish Fest Leprechaun Dash. Race-day registration opens at 8:30 a.m. The one-mile walk starts at 9 a.m., followed by the 5k and 10K runs at 9:30 a.m.
The Leprechaun Dash begins and ends at Rotary Botanical Gardens, located at 1455 Palmer Drive, in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Park admission is free on event day with proof of registration in the Leprechaun Dash 5K – 10K – 1-mile Walk-Run. Post-race awards will be presented to top finishers in various age groupings. Additional prize categories include Best Irish Spirit, My Dog and Me Look-Alikes, and Best Imitation of a Leprechaun at Janesville’s Irish Fest Leprechaun Dash.
