IS YESHUA (JESUS) GOD?
If you want to know the truth about this matter toss out every thing that you have been told and let’s look at Scripture. Now a lot of people believe that Jesus is God because they think The Son and the Father is the same person. Others think Jesus was an Angel and just another of that type of Son. Another, like Muslims thing he was just a prophet and the son of God in a way that all people could be called a son of God. I will try to keep this as short as possible but will show that Jesus is God.
Genesis 1 does not mention the first thing in scriptural history. John 1:1 goes back further. Let’s read it. “JOHN CHAPTER 1
1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”
People, you can manipulate and talk about Greek words but the fact is this scripture mentions two persons. One is God and the other is with God and also was God. Furthermore the second one, the WORD, is said to be the creator. Scripture explains that so CLEARLY that it should never have been a problem. Now let’s go to the second place where this is mentioned.
Genesis Chapter 1:26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
The “US” here is the same “us” that is implied in John 1:1, and Both are called God in that scripture. And again here they are involved with the creation together. Here is a further key to understanding. Also in Genesis 1: 27 so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Notice man was made to image and imitate God. Let’s look at some of this imaging and imitations. Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
What things concerning God are clearly seen by what he made? Let’s take the one subject matter that we are talking about. Man was made to imitate him. Let’s look at what we can learn from that fact.
1, Man was made in God’s image. He made him in two, male and female. He did so by first taking the woman out of the chest area of the man.
(Imitating) John 1: 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
2. Of course when the ELOHIM (a plural word) made man after his image after his likeness, then we see man going on and is said to do the same.
(Adam imitating) In Genesis 5 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:”
Now consider this. My sir name is Sullivan. My Son’s sir name is Sullivan. If we followed the convention under the law of God, my first born would inherit everything from me. And if I am king, even while I live the prince, my son is treated as king. I can even turn over all things into his hands and he becomes a coregent. He becomes the King and the one that you must listen to because I will do nothing else except what he is doing, which I ordered.
Furthermore as shown in all creation whatever has begotten a child, that child is equally what it’s parent is. A child of a cow is a cow. A child of a horse is a horse. A child of a sheep is equally a sheep; a child of a man is equally a man and wither you can stand to hear this or not a child of God is equally God. Let’s see if scripture says the same. Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:”
