Many people are always wondering what kind of calories they are burning while exercising because their main goal is to lose weight and reach those goals. Health clubs today will announce over their intercom what group fitness classes are going to take place in their health and how many calories you are going to burn during the class. For instance, you might hear a calling for a cardio kickboxing class and they promote that you will burn up to 600 calories in the class. Sounds exciting, right? But this information will let you understand that this is not about burning fat but a gimmick just to keep you coming to the class and keep spending money but it does not mean that each and every person will burn 600 calories.
The first and most important thing that we need to all understand is that the group fitness trend is great but do not believe in the hype that you are burning so many calories to make your figure look better. It comes down to calories in and calories out in our diet which is easily explained by how many fat and carbohydrate calories one takes in versus their physical activity burning them.
Everyone burns calories differently depending on age, gender and physical fitness level. For a health club to state that you will burn so many calories, or fat calories for that matter, is false. There are 9 kilocalories per 1 gram of fat and burning one pound of fat takes burning 3,500 calories. The easy way to do burn your body fat is easy and simple with basic exercise prescription from proper health professionals who have the proper education. Many people think that the highest intensity is the key in burning mostly body fat and that is not the answer but rather to start with a low, moderate heart rate on a piece of cardiovascular equipment such as a bike, treadmill or even a cross-trainer. Keeping the heart rate low is key to weight loss along with getting involved in a proper strength training routine that is properly designed for you. Making sure you have a heart rate of 50% to 65% is the key goal; however, partaking in interval training that consists of very high heart rates at a quick bout such as 80%-90% for a short duration of time such as 1-5 minutes and then lowering your heart rate to 50%-70% for a longer period of time will help in bringing the heart rate down. Then repeat this again numerous times over and over again which is known to help shock the metabolism but it still not guaranteed how many calories you are going to burn.
Health clubs that are promoting how many calories you are burning during their group fitness classes, especially fat burning calories, is a lie. We all have many different physiological human body systems of metabolisms and we need to understand what the best process is to burn the best calories as well as taking part in a healthy diet. Do not believe in the brainwashing of how many fat calories you can burn in one single work out unless if there is credible research to support it. If you are pregnant or have any health concerns be sure to contact you physician prior to beginning any exercise program.
