Robin’s birthday was remembered on the October 10 episode of “General Hospital” as her loved ones celebrated her life in their hearts and felt her presence even more than they have before.
Robin (Kimberly McCullough) is an angel in her daughter’s eyes. Emma loves her mommy and it is both cute and realistic the way she remembers her mommy and reminds Patrick (Jason Thompson) of her presence. At Kelly’s Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) met up with Patrick and Emma. Emma reminded Liz that is was her mommy’s birthday and showed her the card she made for her. It was a tender moment as Patrick told Elizabeth about finally saying goodbye by taking off the wedding ring, but by doing so his connection with Robin “is stronger than ever”. He then remembered past birthdays that they celebrated together. Emma made a wish for Robin as they blew out a candle for her. Emma’s wish for Robin was that she would come home.
Robin made a similar wish on Cassadine Island. She became even more determined than ever. Robin was reminded by Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) of her birthday, a man she despises for holding her against her will. Jerry also reminded Robin that she could return home for her family simply by finding a cure that would keep him alive. After Jerry left, memories of her times with Patrick inspired Robin to find the cure and at the end of the episode she rushed Jerry back into the lab with hopes that she finally found the cure.
While Robin was inspired to return home to her family, three men who played an important role in raising her reminisced about her importance in their lives. In his Switzerland hospital room, Robert (Tristian Rogers) held back telling Mac (John J. York) that Robin is alive. He told Mac about his regret in not being able to face Robin’s funeral and how he wished he could’ve been there for Anna. Mac brought in a video of the funeral and the two of them watched it sharing tears as they both honored her birthday. There was a moment when Robert almost told Mac about Robin, but he remembered what Anna said about giving false hope. Duke (Ian Buchanan) also remembered his stepdaughter on her birthday. Duke met with Olivia at the Metro Court and confessed that he was worried that Robert would want Anna back. Olivia convinced him that Anna only has feeling for him. Olivia also let Duke know that it was her vision that led to Robert unveiling Faison as the “Duke” impostor.
Anna (Finola Hughes) came face to face with Faison (Anders Hove). Faison, happy to see her, told her that he “dreamed of this day” and apologized to Anna for the pain he has caused. He also remembered Robin on her birthday, which surprised Anna. As a gift, Faison told Anna that Robin is alive and that he had help from mainly Jerry Jacks and Dr. Obrecht. In a creepy moment, he kissed her and was surprised that she kissed him back. But in a more shocking moment, Anna wasn’t Anna at all. It was Dr. Obrecht in a mask and she wasn’t happy to hear that Faison only has love for Anna.
Elsewhere in Port Charles, the real Anna showed up at the prison and Olivia had another vision in which she saw Faison kissing Anna.
