Strong high pressure will continue to bring the Capital Region a nearly ideal set of weather conditions right through the upcoming weekend. The new work week may start out with a shower or two on Monday, as a weak cold front moves through. The front’s impact looks to be fleeting though, and high pressure quickly rebuilds into the area once again by Tuesday of next week.
Temperatures will generally be near to slightly above normal through the entire period, with precipitation amounts below normal.
