NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, is offering 2-for-1 theater tickets during Broadway Week Fall 2013. Tickets to 19 popular Broadway shows go on sale August 26 and may be used September 2-15, 2013. Shows include:

- The Lion King
- Mamma Mia!
- The Phantom of the Opera
- Rock of Ages
- Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella
- Romeo and Juliet

- Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark
- The Trip to Bountiful

According to The Broadway League, the official website of the Broadway theatre industry, Broadway contributes more than $11 billion to the economy of New York City on top of tickets sales, and supports 86,000 local jobs. Broadway Week has become a welcome fall tradition, with more than 300,000 2-for-1 theater tickets being sold. New participants this fall include The Trip to Bountiful, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Big Fish and Romeo and Juliet.
