The Big Brother 15 house has seen quite the action this week, with everything from tirades, to Zingbot’s return, to an epic live dress-down by the show’s host Julie Chen. Thursday night’s live eviction episode delivered on all cylinders, as we sadly saw another houseguest eliminated from the ‘Big Brother 15’ house. Ahead of evicting the latest player from the game, four houseguests created the new Exterminators alliance in the wake of the failed 3 A.M. one. That alliance went down the toilet when two of its four members ended up on the block, according to The Hollywood Reporter Aug. 29.
As Amanda continued her bullying harassment of HoH Elissa, Jud, Andy, GinaMarie and Spencer created the final four Exterminators alliance with the prime objective of getting her out of the house.
This became all the more crucial after the attempted backdoor of Amanda failed, as she managed to win her first competition of the season at the best possible time, this week’s Power of Veto.
Amanda had sensed Elissa was coming after her, pulling out the tears in front of her and begging to be left off the block ahead of the veto competition.
But once Amanda won and knew she and showmance McCrae were safe for the week, she came out guns blaring and unleashed a campaign of harassment against Elissa that is one for the Big Brother history books.
From calling her plastic and going on a screaming tirade as Elissa holed up in her HoH room, to even getting right up in her grill and asking her what procedures she had done to her face, Amanda would just not let up.
Former BB winner Dan Gheesling joined Julie Chen live onstage for a chat, as he called out Amanda for her playing the game like a “brat”. He also weighed in on how it’s a bad idea to have a showmance because it hurts your game.
So then we were treated to cutaways of taped interviews with former showmances Jeff and Jordan, Rachel and Brendan as well as Danielle and Dominic. The latter two couples actually married after meeting on the reality show, and Jordan told Jeff to put a ring on it, as they admitted they’re committed for life as well.
Aaryn’s last ditch effort to convince McCranda that their best move was to go forward with her rather than Andy, since she’s been completely loyal to them the whole game, came up short in the end.
When the voting was over, even bestie GinaMarie voted to evict Aaryn in another cohesive landslide. Aaryn explained after that she had seen the writing on the wall, and advised GM to vote with the house and not put a target on her back.

As Aaryn made her way out of the BB house and onto the studio stage, she was not greeted with the usual hoots and applause that most exiting houseguests receive.
That was the first thing host Julie Chen pointed out to her as she began to grill Aaryn about her controversial remarks from early in the season.
Aaryn seemed not to know what Julie was talking about and down played it. So, Julie decided the read off some of Aaryn’s comments when she said things like no one’s going to vote for a queer about Andy.
Chen also reiterated Aaryn’s comments about how Helen should go make some rice, and the one about watching out for talking in the dark about Candice.
The look of shock and horror on Aaryn’s face was priceless, as she tried to explain she didn’t mean those things, that it was all a result of being from Texas.
She said they were all jokes, and she was sorry if her comments were misinterpreted or hurtful. The audience’s reaction was less than receptive to her explanation.
The Head of Household competition started up as usual during the final moments of the show. This week the contestants must hop back and forth with their legs bound at the ankles, and wrangle plastic eggs through a chicken-wire maze.
Spoiler alert: The first to get a dozen eggs through the maze and into their basket wins. Although we don’t get to see that by show’s end, GinaMarie is the new HoH.
Julie Chen shocked with another Big Brother twist, announcing next week will be yet another live double elimination, the second of the season.
You kind of knew that was coming given the jury twist that brought an eliminated houseguest back into BB house.
Who do you think GinaMarie should nominate for eviction?
Big Brother next airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
